Counseling & Psychological Services...

These services are provided to improve students' mental, emotional, and social health. They include individual and group assessments, interventions, and referrals. Organizational assessment and consultation skills of counselors and psychologists contribute not only to the health of students but also to the health of the school environment. Professionals such as certified school counselors, psychologists, and social workers provide these services.

• Dept of Social Services and SWCMHC with DHS is providing the Summit Program for kids with mental health risks.

• It is the curriculum review year for counseling (BOCS social workers and school counselors).
  
• Prevention Grant is allowing students to obtain mental health services at district expense.
  
• Social responsibilty training going on at all secondary schools.
